• Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account
• Search preferences: Locations, price ranges, agent preferences, and free-text descriptions you enter during the matching process
• Home addresses: Addresses you search in the Pikit Toolkit to look up utilities, nearby amenities, and service providers
• Agent profile data: Professional information submitted by agents including bio, certifications, specialties, and contact details
• Notes and ratings: Notes you write about homes and ratings (love, like, not it) you assign in the Toolkit

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, and interaction patterns
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device identifiers
• Session data: IP address, approximate location (city-level), session duration, and referral source

Information from Third Parties

• MLS data: Agent transaction history, listing data, and sales records from Multiple Listing Services
• Public records: Publicly available real estate licensing and professional data

3. How We Use Your Information

• Match you with real estate agents based on your preferences and our AI analysis
• Provide utility, amenity, and service provider lookups for addresses you search
• Create and maintain your account and saved data
• Improve the Platform's features, accuracy, and user experience
• Send transactional communications (account verification, password resets)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• With agents you contact: When you choose to connect with an agent, we share your name and contact information with that agent
• Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting (Vercel), database management (Supabase), mapping (Google), and other infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of the transaction

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase and Vercel. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and follow industry-standard security practices. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Some data (such as saved homes, toolkit preferences, and ratings) is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you create an account.

• Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@pikit.ai
• Local data: You can clear locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage

7. Cookies & Tracking

Pikit uses essential browser storage (localStorage) to maintain your session, preferences, and saved data. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

8. Children's Privacy

Pikit is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

9. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
